For the solo album of Igor Herbut we waited  for over eight years, but it was worth being patient . 
 "Chrust" is the artist's first solo album -  beautiful, mature and absolutely honest. Although Igor is known for his privacy, he lets listeners into his world with the new album.
 Fans of Igor's vocal talent will certainly not be disappointed, because he set the bar even higher than before. Unique timbre, brilliant technique and emotional interpretations of the texts - on this album they are perfected to perfection. The album "Chrust" is much more than just a voice and a piano - it is over 70 minutes of music, which consists of songs that often last up to 7-8 minutes. In addition to  premiere pieces composed, written, instrumentally arranged, sung and played on the piano by Igor Herbut, there is also a piece composed to a poem by Leopold Staff, which Igor performed live on the Radio Three last year.
 This is how the artist himself tells about this extremely intimate album: “Imagine that I gave you my notebook. You can take a peek if you want, it's okay. First you find the last pages you wrote down, it's the beginning of 2020. You start here. You know where I am. Slowly you turn the pages backward, go back to earlier notes, and find stories that I never mentioned, that you would never suspect me of. This is how this album is constructed. The colors gradually fade into each other ”- Igor Herbut.
